No, the Rize Credit Union Secured Platinum Credit Card does not “match” your deposit by offering a higher credit limit than what you put down. Instead, your credit limit is equal to your security deposit. For example, if you deposit $1,000 when opening the account, your credit limit will be $1,000.
If you want to increase your credit limit later, you’ll have to add an additional deposit in the same amount as the increase.
If you’re looking for a secured credit card where the credit limit can be higher than the required deposit, consider the Capital One Platinum Secured Credit Card as an alternative.
