You can use Citi Double Cash Card convenience checks to tap into your credit line to make purchases for which plastic is not an option. To do that, simply fill in the amount and recipient info on the check, and either mail it or give it directly to the recipient.
Please note that as soon as the check is cashed, you’ll be charged a cash advance fee of 5% (min $10) along with a cash advance APR of 29.74% (V). Your account’s cash advance limit will also apply to the transaction. That's because using a convenience check is essentially using your credit card, and you'll have to repay the amount you've used, along with the associated fees and interest.
