The starting credit limit for a State Department Federal Credit Union (SDFCU) credit card is $500 to $5,000, depending on the card:
- State Department Federal Credit Union Savings Secured Visa Platinum Rewards Credit Card: $500+
- State Department Federal Credit Union Visa Platinum Rewards Credit Card: $500+
- State Department Federal Credit Union Premium Cash Back+ Credit Card: $5,000+
In general, the higher your income and credit score, the higher your starting credit limit is likely to be. If you don’t receive the limit you hoped for at first, you can request a credit limit increase later. SDFCU limits may also rise automatically over time through periodic account reviews, as reported by some cardholders.
