For full coverage details, you can refer to the Guide to Benefits provided after account opening, or call the number on the back of your card for assistance.
USAA cell phone protection does not cover phone accessories; rented, borrowed or prepaid phones; cosmetic damage and lost phones. USAA cell phone protection is secondary to any other type of coverage. That means you’ll have to exhaust all other types of insurance you have before you make a cell phone insurance claim with USAA. You should still report the incident as soon as possible, though.
You can file a claim on your USAA cell phone insurance by calling 1 (844) 288-2141 or visiting the Benefit Administrator’s website. You will be notified as soon as your claim has been processed.
