Yes, you can use your old PIN on your new credit card with most issuers, if your original card simply expired. However, if you got your new card because the old one was lost or stolen, you might get a new PIN. With some issuers, you might even have to request the PIN separately. To find out more about your issuer’s policy on PINs, call the number on the back of your card.
PINs are used for cash advances, which can be very expensive. So try to pay with your card wherever you can, and only do a cash advance in emergency situations.
