- Overview: Cell phone protection provides coverage for damage to, or theft of your wireless cell phone. To get coverage you must charge your cell phone bill to your Wells Fargo Active Cash card. - How to file a claim: To file a claim, you need to call the benefit administrator at (866) 804-4770 within 60 days of the theft or damage. Claims will be processed within 10 days.
