The Marriott Bonvoy program does not let you pool points with family or friends. Instead, you can transfer points from your account to another account free of charge. You can transfer Bonvoy points in increments of 1,000, up to 100,000 points per calendar year.
Is It Worth It to Transfer Marriott Points?
Bonvoy points are worth about 0.82 cents each when redeemed for Marriott hotel stays, meaning 1,000 points are worth roughly $8.19. Transferring points is free of charge, which means their full value remains intact. Because of this, transferring points can be a convenient and cost-effective way to combine balances.
