You can transfer your World of Hyatt points to 23 partner airlines, usually at a 2.5-to-1 ratio, which means 5,000 Hyatt points get you 2,000 miles. To complete the transfer, the name on your airline loyalty account must match the name on your World of Hyatt account.
How to Transfer World of Hyatt Points to Airlines
- Log in to your World of Hyatt account.
- Go to "Loyalty Program" at the top, then select "Redeem."
- Scroll to "Turn Points into Miles" and click "See Details."
- Click "Convert Existing Points to Miles," pick your airline, enter your frequent flyer number, and choose how many points to convert.
- Review your info and click "Convert" to finish.
You must convert at least 5,000 points, and any extra points must be added in increments of 1,250. If you convert 50,000 points or more, you'll receive a 5,000-mile bonus.

Is It Worth It to Transfer World of Hyatt Points to Airlines?
Transferring World of Hyatt points to airlines usually isn't a good deal. For example, 5,000 Hyatt points are worth about $119 on average, but the 2,000 miles you get might only be worth around $15.4 to $32.6, depending on the airline.
While it might be tempting, especially if you have leftover points, using Hyatt points for hotel stays typically offers better value than transferring them to airline loyalty programs. If you want to learn more, check out WalletHub’s in-depth review of the World of Hyatt program.
