You can gift United miles to another member by logging into your United MileagePlus account and going to the "Give Miles" page. Gifting the minimum of 2,000 miles costs $75.25, and you can send miles in increments of 1,000, up to 200,000 miles per year. - Review your order, enter your credit or debit card details, and confirm the purchase.
Typically, the miles will be credited to your recipient’s account within 72 hours of completing the transaction.
Alternatively, if you already have miles in your account and wish to gift them, you can transfer miles to another member. This option costs $7.50 per 500 miles, plus a $30.00 processing fee per transaction.
