You can transfer your Hilton Honors points to 25 partner airlines, usually at a 10-to-1 ratio, which means 10,000 Hilton points get you 1,000 miles. To complete the transfer, the name on your airline loyalty account must match the name on your Hilton Honors account.
How to Transfer Hilton Honors Points to Airlines
- Visit Hilton's "Exchange Your Points" page and log in to your account.
- Select "Use Points to get miles."
- Pick your airline from the "Travel Partners" dropdown. If your airline isn't listed, click "Add one now" below the dropdown to add it.
- Use the "Exchange Rate" dropdown to choose how many points you want to transfer, then click "Next."
- Review your transfer details and click "Submit" to complete your request.
Transfer times vary by airline, and the process can take up to 60 days, so don't count on this method for last-minute flight bookings. Additionally, with Virgin Atlantic, you can transfer Virgin points back to Hilton points at a rate of 10,000 Virgin points for 15,000 Hilton points.

Is It Worth It to Transfer Hilton Honors Points to Airlines?
Transferring Hilton Honors points to airlines usually isn't a good deal. For example, 10,000 Hilton points are worth about $55 on average, but the 1,000 miles you get might only be worth around $7.7 to $16.3, depending on the airline.
While it might be tempting, especially if you have leftover points, using Hilton points for hotel stays typically offers better value than transferring them to airline loyalty programs. If you want to learn more, check out WalletHub’s in-depth review of the Hilton Honors program.
