I first learned about Nationwide from those catchy TV commercials that are always saying Nationwide is on your side. It seems like it was a dependable company, and so I checked it out. There were so many great deals on there, and I was actually looking forward to using them. I found out that they were actually pretty cheap, and so I signed up. It was very easy to sign up, and there were no problems or delays. I think Nationwide has a pretty good savings account too, and so you don't have to worry about being cheated.

My Nationwide savings account is great. The interest on this account isn't amazing, but it's enough to make a difference. Since there aren't any costs to keeping this account open, money continually builds over time. The customer service is spectacular, always willing to answer any questions i may have and fix any problems that might arise. I should also mention the easy online access to all my information as well as a plethora of knowledge in the data base, making it extremely easy to manage my savings account. I could not recommend this savings account enough, as it is definitely one of the best on the market.

I had a savings account through Nationwide Bank in the past, and I was not thrilled with it. The interest rate was very low, from what I remember less than 0.35%, and there was also a monthly fee. Having since transitioned to a new bank to keep my savings account, I realize that their monthly fee was also a bit bogus as well. I found that I couldn’t rely on them customer service wise either. It took a while to get phone calls or emails answered, and I was never happy with the responses I got.
I've had dealings with Nationwide before. I assisted my nephew in shopping around for accounts and though Nationwide is a good bank and has good customer service but their savings account is nothing spectacular.
Very low interest rate combined with a monthly fee (which can be avoided sometimes but still) does not make for a compelling account. You're better off with Chase or one of the other banks or credit unions in your area.
You know it is getting harder and harder to find a really good place to save your money. With what happened with other banks in the past I have been kind of leery. But with Nation Wide I think I have found the solution. I really like the rates and most importantly I love the fact that I know my money is really growing every day in a dependable institution that I know I can trust. There is no withdrawal fee and you got to love that. You never know when life is going to make you have to dip into your savings account , and it is good to know that at least you will not be penalized when you do. You really can't go wrong with a Bank like this. I also enjoy being able to check things out online anytime I want to. You should give these folks a try.
I highly recommend the savings account from Nationwide. I have had a savings account with them for over 10 years and it truly has the best interest rates out there. I have had a high balance in there at all times so I see growth every single year. I would recommend this to anyone who has extra money that does not need to go anything, it is a great investment into your future. As your balance grows, so does the amount of return you get on an annual basis. If you build up a high enough balance in your life like I have over the years, you can eventually turn this into retirement income, and be able to retire at a reasonable age, which is great in the economy we live in today.
I highly recommend Nationwide if you are interested in opening a savings account; the interest rates they offer are highly competitive with other companies in the banking market. This particular savings account requires that you deposit $1000 as a down payment. Therefore, I would only recommend that you use this savings account as a long-term savings method. The process is fairly simple and concise in order to get started, and so far I have been highly satisfied with their customer service. They also have a wonderful online banking method that saves you tons of time. All in all, the interest rates, excellent customer service, variety of long-term savings options, and fair fees are ample enough reasons for me to recommend Nationwide.
The Nationwide Bank Money Market Account is a great account for saving up for the expensive things.Because to open up the account require a 1000 dollars to open which some could see as a negative so to be fair its not going to be positive to all.But it was a great account to open to get me serious about saving up for school because i had to make the commitment. The sign up process was smooth and great. It took almost no time compared to others and the staff was friendly to me even though i did ask alot about it.So i would rate it 4 for the great service and features
I had been looking for a good savings account for sometime. When I found Nationwide, I was very pleased. The interest rate they offered was fantastic. It is by far the best rate I have been able to find. The sign-up process was very simple, and the customer service was great. The monthly fees also attracted me, as they are pretty low in case I go below my minimum. Other than the interest rate however, the minimum balance was my deciding factor. Some of the accounts that I looked at were much higher. Some of them required a $5000 minimum balance. That is way to much for me. $1000 is right down my alley. All in all, I feel that I have chose the best account I could have.
I began looking for a decent savings account a few years ago. I ran into a lot of problems. Most of them had horrible fees attached or some kind of hoops you had to jump through just to be able to keep an account there. Or the interest rate was laughably low. I stumbled upon Nationwide's Bank Money Market Account and the details and terms looked great. So I became a member and I have not looked back since. The fees are low, no crazy terms or hoops to jump through, and the customer service is absolutely top notch. I really couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended.
