Citizens Bank Credit Card Q&A
Get answers to your questions about Citizens Bank Credit Cards below. For more general questions, visit our Answers section.
What's the best Citizens Bank business credit card?

The best Citizens Bank business credit card is the Citizens Bank Everyday Points Business Mastercard because it has a $0 annual fee. It also offers 2 points per $1 on all purchases and a bonus of 25,000 points for spending $5,000 in the first 90 days.
The only other Citizens Bank business credit card is the Business Platinum Mastercard, which has no rewards. However, it also has a $0 annual fee and the potential for a lower APR than the Everyday Points card. Its APR range is 8.24% - 19.24% (V), compared to 11.24% - 21.24% (V) for the Everyday Points card.
While both of the Citizens Bank business credit cards have decent terms, they're not the best offers on the market. There are lots of really rewarding business credit cards available right now. For example, the Capital One Spark Cash for Business card offers unlimited 2% cash back on all purchases and a $500 initial bonus.
How do I redeem my Citizens Bank credit card rewards points?

You can redeem your Citizens Bank credit card rewards by logging in to the Citizens Bank website and clicking on the rewards redemption option in the white box in the lower-right corner of the page. The Citizens Bank Cash Back Plus Credit Card gives its cash back rewards in the form of points, which you can redeem in increments of 25, at $1 per point. Your cash back can be applied to your credit card account as a statement credit, or added to your Citizens Bank deposit account.
If you have trouble redeeming your rewards points, call the Citizens Bank credit card Rewards Redemption Center at 855-287-3910 (9am-9pm M-F and 10am-7pm on weekends). Or call Citizens Bank customer service at 1-800-922-9999, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can also visit the bank's contact page for other ways to get in touch.
How can I reach the Citizens Bank credit card customer service?

You can reach the Citizens Bank credit card customer service by calling 1-800-684-2222.
You could also talk to a representative online by clicking on the “Message us” tab.
They can even be found on Facebook and Twitter. If you choose to contact them on social media, remember not to disclose any personal information.
Ultimately, you could talk to a customer service representative in person at your nearest Citizens Bank branch.
What's the starting credit limit for a Citizens Bank credit card?

The starting credit limit for a Citizens Bank credit card is $500.
But after at least 2 months of opening your account, you could request a credit limit increase online or by calling (800) 684-2222.
A credit limit increase could result in a hard pull. This may hurt your credit score for a little while. So only request an increase if you've been paying your bills on time and in full, or if your credit score and income have improved since opening your account.
Does the Citizens Bank Cash Back Plus card offer virtual account numbers?

No, the Citizens Bank Cash Back Plus card doesn't offer virtual account numbers. It does, however, come with other security features, such as contactless payments.
If you're looking for a credit card offering virtual account numbers, I'd suggest the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card or the Chase Freedom Unlimited® card instead.
