Regions Bank Credit Card Reviews
What's Your Rating?
During our interaction, he was extremely dismissive and lacked any level of professionalism or compassion. I reached out regarding an overdraft fee, understanding that while I had one, I was hoping for assistance given that I had previously received help with a similar situation. Instead of handling the situation respectfully, he immediately refused and made a comment stating, “you’re just upset because I’m not going to give you the answer that you want,” which felt unnecessary and unprofessional.
I then requested to speak with a manager or someone higher up. Instead of honoring that request, he transferred me to another associate who had less information and was unable to assist. When I questioned this, he returned to the call and stated that he could not connect me to a manager and asked what else I wanted, which added to the frustration. At no point did I ask to be transferred to another associate.
The overall tone of the interaction was demeaning and unhelpful. I fully understand policies regarding overdraft fees, but the way this situation was handled was unacceptable. Customers should be treated with respect, even when requests cannot be granted.
I hope this matter is reviewed seriously, as no customer should feel dismissed or disrespected when reaching out for assistance
I now receive my mother's mail as well, and I just received a letter that she had accrued over 7,000 reward points, and that those points could be redeemed as a gift card or cash. When I called to see how to go about redeeming those points, I was informed that since she has passed away, the points will not be redeemed (even though she earned them).
Regions, do better. My mother banked with you for decades. She would be so disappointed in the way you're handling her affairs now.

Does Regions Bank have student credit cards?
No, Regions Bank does not have any student credit cards. But the bank does offer an alternative option, the Regions Explore Visa Credit Card. While this card is not aimed at students, it is available for those with bad credit. However, it is a secured credit card and it requires a deposit of $250. Generally, most student credit cards are aimed at those with fair or limited credit.
Aside from the Regions Explore Visa Credit Card, all Regions Bank credit cards require good and excellent credit for approval. However, students can still get access to Regions Bank credit cards by becoming an authorized user of someone else's Regions Bank card. That way, they'll be able to take advantage of all the card has to offer while establishing credit.
