I am so disappointed in Regions Bank, with which my mother did business for decades in Florida. My mother passed away late last year, and I am the trustee of her estate. Despite providing my mother's death certificate, trust documentation, copies of IDs, SS cards, etc., they refuse to provide any information regarding her account. I'm trying to confirm that her credit card has been closed out so that she doesn't accrue any charges or fees. I explained that the closest branch is four hours from my home in Virginia, so I am not able to just pop in and handle this in person. I have faxed and mailed copies of the requested documents, and I still have no answers.
I now receive my mother's mail as well, and I just received a letter that she had accrued over 7,000 reward points, and that those points could be redeemed as a gift card or cash. When I called to see how to go about redeeming those points, I was informed that since she has passed away, the points will not be redeemed (even though she earned them).
Regions, do better. My mother banked with you for decades. She would be so disappointed in the way you're handling her affairs now.

I am tired of having to waste time calling Regions every week because your security protocol places a hold on my card every time I use it online. The wait times are bad enough. The dropped called are bad enough. The pointless transfers to another "department" who I have to start over again repeating my name, account, and issue are bad enough. Cease with the nonsense. Please stop placing holds on my card for every single minor transaction that, for some reason, triggers your alerts, Chicken Little. Also, why is your site attempting to edit my comment to soften the point?

First of all, mobile deposit has untold rules that only Regions know about, it seems. My second paycheck, I mobile deposit on Dec 1, Regions marks it as fraud; I get it, they are protecting themselves, but if you bring into the bank the person who wrote it with their ID & they still say there is nothing I can do; that’s a bank that cares nothing about their customers. So here I am owing rent & other bills with a $2,000 hold on my paycheck for 10 days because this invisible fraud department can’t be contacted by fellow employees of Regions. I will have bounced fee from my phone & electricity company, plus Regions overdraft fees; but does Regions care, oh no. Shame on you, Regions; Santa is watching, dude.

I went into Regions Bank in Bristol, TN. The bank manager Sara is hands down the best customer service I have received in years. She was welcoming and very personable. She acknowledged the passing of my mom. If all who work with the public were like Sara, it would be a different world. This is what service used to always be like. Best banking experience I have ever had. Bank ID 3F698. Thank you.

No complaints. Been with Regions for many years. Good bank to do business with. There are definitely ups and downs dealing with finances, but Regions won't drop the ball; they go the extra mile.

I've been waiting for a Regions Prepaid account credit card for three weeks when I was specifically told it would take 7 to 10 business days. They claimed they mailed it on the 30th of May. Then, on Saturday, I called and complained, asking where my card was. They said they would cancel it and expedite one overnight to me. Well, today is Tuesday and still no card. I called and they said tomorrow. They don't have a tracking number or any way of telling when it was mailed. It's just ridiculous. I would not recommend them to anyone. I could understand if I were waiting on their credit, but it's my money. This is crazy!

The account has been a headache from the start. I'm a mellow person who doesn't get upset easily, but my patience has vanished with all the issues. When I opened the account, I couldn't get access to it for several days. I've never had that experience with any other bank before. Then, the Zelle payments take numerous days to go through, which is again an issue I've never encountered with other banks. I called but got nowhere; there was no help at all. I wanted to close this account but found out I'll get charged a fee if I close it before six months. Then I was charged $18 for a monthly fee after months of no fees. When I opened the account, it was indicated that if I had a monthly $500 direct deposit, I wouldn't be charged a monthly fee. I called, and they said I could change to a different account that doesn't charge fees, and I got the $18 refunded. Now I try to do Zelle transfers, and my account was restricted. After calling to verify my information, I now have to go in person. I'm on mandatory overtime for the next month, Monday through Saturday. So my money is being held hostage until I'm off overtime. This is unacceptable.

After obtaining a Regions Prestige Visa credit card, they overcharged me $1,900. I have only had the card for three months now .I have emailed and called approximately seven times and they say that they will refund it, but they do not. Do not get a Visa credit card from Regions Bank. The Regions bank personnel will not help you either.

Generally, most student credit cards are aimed at those with fair or limited credit.
