WalletHub leads in this category since it offers many budgeting features for free. For instance, with a free WalletHub account, you can create a debt payoff plan, import your bank and credit card transactions from a spreadsheet, and organize your budget in multiple different ways.
There’s a free version of Rocket Money, too, but it is not as comprehensive as WalletHub’s free plan, as it fails to provide key features and only offers one way to organize your budget.
YNAB does have debt payoff plans, but the app only gives you one way to budget. Plus, you must pay for a subscription before you can access any of YNAB’s features.

Plus, you can access WalletHub’s credit builder feature, which allows you to report your on-time rent and utility payments to TransUnion.
Rocket Money doesn’t offer a credit improvement plan or credit builder feature, and YNAB doesn’t offer credit management tools at all.

However, WalletHub wins this category since you can get a detailed breakdown of your investment activities and see investment news straight from your account. Rocket Money and YNAB don’t provide a breakdown of your investment activities, such as which investments were bought and sold, or provide investment news.
Other Features
WalletHub also leads Rocket Money and YNAB in identity theft protection and additional features. That’s because WalletHub offers credit monitoring, identity monitoring, identity theft restoration services, and up to $1,000,000 in identity theft insurance.
In addition, WalletHub provides a financial timeline that summarizes important alerts and gives you access to your auto insurance score and your WalletScore (an indicator of how financially healthy you are). Rocket Money provides credit monitoring, but none of the other features, and YNAB does not offer any of these features.
