I went to my local GEICO office in town and got them CCA insurance with the minimum coverage policy for my home on 2017, the policy don't cover any metal structures, YES I understand, after two years living in my home
found a leak from the roof in my KIDS room having them under danger they refuse to do the minimum coverage for repairs telling me lies, one of them was the my home have metal flashing and the policy don't cover metal, metal flashing is for protection on roof, any professional roofer will install flashing, I told them I will need to hire an attorney because is not the correct way you guys handling business my KIDS are under danger after that conversation a month later I received a check in my mailbox with instructions for limited repairs given by the CCA insurance
I told them this will not fix the problem on my roof your adjuster told me I need to replace the entire roof, so now on 2020 with the rains my KIDS room have leaks AGAIN so I have another claim AGAIN and I have not heard anything from them and today date is 06/08/2021...
I purchased another house and they cancel me the policy coverage. I will take actions now over all this...
The CCA business keep lying I will not contact them anymore if CCA team need to resolve something they can contact me trying to provide a better SERVICE, anyway I have found a high quality insurance office here in town with a better coverage premium for my home just couple dollars more, I only want people to be AWARE of how bad CCA is with their customers they have a lack of professionalism.
The bad started less than a week after I signed up with the company. I got a notice stating that I had another ticket on my record and that my insurance rate was going up. This worried me because the ticket was from a few months ago. So I wasn't sure if I had a warrant out for my arrest due to nonpayment and I was scared that I was going to lose my job because I have to keep a good driving record. So after calling all the courts, I found out that it was a mistake on their part and called them. They eventually fixed the issue and lowered my insurance.
Also, the customer service isn't that good. They are nice but I don't think they are very good at their job. I called one day to make my payment and the lady said that someone was going to have to call me back later. They did not call until a couple of days later. So I ended up getting late fees and they sent a letter to my car dealer telling them that my policy had been canceled due to nonpayment. I called the company to protest about the late fees and they would not waive the fee because the lady that originally contacted me was out. They told me that someone would contact me that day and they would take off the late charge if the lady confirms what I said. I received no call and they only ended up taking a dollar off my next month’s bill.
