It’s a good card but another company that is scared to take a small risk to higher limits faster - this is insane - after 4 years as a client and I was never ever late in payments never.
Not the greatest card, but it is my oldest so I do not want to shorten my credit history by deleting it either. It’s high interest with an annual rate and not much of a balance max. It was my first card that I was approved for years ago so I just keep it paid off and use it for my account to the tollway. My advice is stay away unless you can’t get any others
Good card lovely it’s the best so awesome and fun to have a good time with the money and you need to refund your payment money .
You can pay your Merrick Bank credit card the following ways:
You can even set up recurring or one-time payments in the Cardholder Center, if you choose to.
You can get a Merrick Bank cash advance at any ATM. It comes with a cash advance APR of 24.7%. The fee for a cash advance is 4% of the transaction amount or $10, whichever is greater. This is on top of any fees an ATM owner may charge. There's no grace period on a cash advance so interest starts accruing right away.
You will need a PIN for your Merrick Bank credit card to make a cash advance through an ATM. If you didn't create a PIN when you applied for the card, you can request one by calling customer service at (800) 204-5936.
Bottom line: cash advances are really expensive no matter what credit card you have, so avoid them. There is only one Merrick Bank unsecured credit card: the Merrick Bank Platinum Visa. This card is sometimes referred to as the “Double Your Line Visa,” because it offers the opportunity to double your credit limit if you pay on time for the first 7 months the account is open. The Platinum Visa is available to people with bad or no credit, but only people who have been pre-qualified can apply. If you haven't already received a pre-qualified offer from Merrick Bank by mail, you can check if you're pre-qualified online.
Merrick Bank does not list APRs or fees for the Platinum Visa on their website. But you'll be able to see all of the details once you receive a pre-qualified offer. You can read the terms over before deciding to apply.
If you don't pre-qualify for the Platinum Visa, the only Merrick credit card you will be able to get is the Merrick Bank Secured Visa. It is also marketed toward people with bad, limited or no credit. It's easy to get approved for because it requires a refundable security deposit of at least $200, up to a maximum of $3,000. The amount of your deposit determines the credit limit. The annual fee is $36 for the first year. But after that, the fee is charged in installments of $3 every month. The Secured Visa's APR is 17.45% (V).
You can get a Merrick Bank PIN by calling their customer service. The number you're looking for is 800-204-5936.
Just remember that cash advances are extremely expensive, so avoid one unless it's an absolute emergency. The cash advance APR is variable at 22%. The transaction fee is 4 percent.
Merrick Bank is a legitimate credit card company. It is a top 20 credit card issuer with nearly two million customers, specializing in helping customers establish, re-establish, or rebuild their credit.
Also, applying for the Merrick Bank Secured Visa Card (their most popular offering) is a good way to start building your credit, if you can live with its annual fee.
In order to apply, you will need to submit a security deposit, which will act as your credit line and will be refunded to you in full upon closing your account.
