What's Your Rating?
Yes, the fees and charges are excessively high and definitely unrealistic, but these are all identified and outlined in the application prior to ordering the card. I think the second year charges of a $48 annual fee on top of a monthly fee of $8.25, and if you're only paying the monthly minimum payment, you'll incur $10-12 in monthly interest. So, considering all of these charges, the Revi Credit Card is an expensive option for a $300 credit limit.
I called and asked them if they could remove one late payment. I've had the card for over 2 years and had one late payment by mistake and asked if they could remove it as a courtesy. They told me I have to write a letter to request the removal, which is fine. However, during this conversation, the person on the phone ordered me a new card and charged me an expedited fee of $35. I never ordered a new card; I didn't need a new card. The card arrived in the mail exactly as I had it in my wallet, with the same expiration date and card number. If I had lost a card with that number and expiration date, why would you send me the same card? Somebody out there could have the information if it were lost or stolen.
Then, they refuse to take off the $35 fee even though I did not speak to anyone about replacing the card and incurring an expedited charge. It's a real rip-off. Do not get this card; you will end up with too many charges and no help.
I'm extremely disappointed with Revvi and the way they handle business. I just got this credit card and made a payment on it right away—only to have my account restricted for no clear reason. I take my financial responsibilities seriously and have proof that my payment cleared, yet I was still embarrassed when my card was declined at the grocery store with no warning.
What makes it worse is the complete lack of communication. No email, no phone call, no text—nothing. I asked me to send in my bank statement and a bank letter just to prove my account is legitimate. This is absolutely ridiculous and adds unnecessary stress for a customer who is doing everything right. It was easy to fund my account with my banking info and it was also easy for them to instantly deduct the money when I paid the whole balance off so I don’t understand what they issue is..
I do not recommend this company to anyone. If you want reliability, respect, and proper communication.
TransUnion provided them with all of my property information, including taxes and property value, as well as what I paid for the property.
Why would MRV Bank and Revvy Card need my residential information and supplemental public records?
And why, with any logic and common sense, would TransUnion distribute personal information? That's my data, my information, my identity that has been compromised. The purpose of the Revvy Card and MRV Bank regarding the use of your information is that they sell it to third parties, and you cannot opt out of it.
The following is a copy and paste from my credit report. TransUnion claims it's not there, but how did I get the screenshot?
