Unfortunately, Capital One does not accept money order deposits through their mobile app or online platforms due to security reasons. Money orders require in-person verification to ensure the funds are legitimate and to protect against fraud.
To deposit a money order into your Capital One account, you'll need to visit a Capital One branch or an ATM that accepts deposits.
Before depositing your money order, be sure it's endorsed correctly. This typically involves signing the back of the money order. Also, be aware that there might be a hold on the funds, especially for larger amounts or if it's your first time depositing a money order. This means the funds may not be immediately available for use.
