Typically, there's no specific time limit for activating a debit card. However, it's best to activate it as soon as possible for security reasons. Some banks, like Alliant Credit Union, may automatically deactivate debit cards that remain inactive for 90 days to prevent fraud. Once activated, you can start using it for purchases and withdrawals.
