You can use a temporary Green Dot card to make purchases after activating and registering the card. You can use it in-store, online, or anywhere Visa or Mastercard debit cards are accepted within the United States.
However, temporary Green Dot cards have limitations, as they cannot be used at ATMs for cash withdrawals. Once the temporary card is activated and registered, a personalized permanent Green Dot card will be mailed to you. The personalized card typically offers more features, such as ATM access and reload capabilities.
For the most up-to-date information please refer to the Green Dot website or contact customer service.
You can check the best prepaid debit cards available to ensure that whatever decision you go for really fits your goals.
