You currently can't use a Walmart MoneyCard prepaid card with Cash App.
Cash App accepts linked bank accounts and credit or debit cards backed by Visa, American Express, Discover, or Mastercard.
Alternatively, you can use Venmo with your Walmart MoneyCard prepaid card. You can learn more about Venmo's features here.

Okay this must have changed recently because I was just able to link my Walmart money card (Green Dot Bank) it's a card link successful I press done. So I proceeded to cash apps homepage/cash out I attempted to cash out the $25 that I had in cash app of course for an instant deposit cash app fee was 44 cents for that amount I clicked okay confirmed my PIN # it said instant deposited the $24 and change. So of course I went to my Walmart money card app yet it still says a zero balance I'm going to have to call Walmart money card customer service likely do to somehow I've ended up with two money cards but I just activated the first one I had received five or six months ago. So possibly a mix up there any hoot I originally started this venture simply for a last minute effort for survival to keep warm and not knowing that Walmart doesn't allow swap to pay with cash app being the only funds I had at the time with my phone but no cash app card
