AAA Travel Credit Card Redemption Options
- AAA Merchandise & Travel: Travel purchases include air travel, car rentals and hotel stays, among other options. For redeeming cash back through AAA Club locations, check with your local AAA Club or visit com to confirm participation.
- Direct Deposit: You can redeem your cash back paid as a direct deposit, starting at a dollar ($5), into a checking or savings account.
- Statement Credits: You may redeem cash back as a statement credit to your Account. The amount available to redeem, starting at $5, is based on your cash back balance.
- Merchandise: You may use cash back to obtain rewards through the program catalog.
- Gift Cards: You can also redeem cash back to buy gift cards online.
It is also worth mentioning that points expire five years after the date that they were posted to your cash back balance. But you should still redeem them as often as possible to minimize the risk of devaluation.

You can also get an initial bonus of 75,000 points for spending $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months. Chase Sapphire Preferred points are worth 1 cent each when redeemed for travel through the Chase Travel Portal.
By comparison, the average credit card point has a redemption value of around 1 cent. Just bear in mind that Chase Sapphire Preferred comes with an annual fee of $95.
