The Barclaycard Arrival Plus foreign transaction fee is 0%. This means existing cardholders won’t be charged extra anytime they use the Barclaycard Arrival Plus card outside of the United States. This applies whether it’s a purchase at a physical location in a foreign country or an online transaction through an internationally-based merchant.
However, it is worth noting that the Barclaycard Arrival Plus card is no longer available to new applicants.
Alternative Credit Card Option
If you are looking for a credit card with no foreign transaction fees, you should consider applying for the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card. This card offers 75,000 miles for spending $4,000 on purchases within 3 months from account opening. Plus, with this card you can earn 5 miles per $1 spent on hotels, vacation rentals and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel, 5 miles per $1 spent on Capital One Entertainment purchases through 12/31/25, as well as 2 miles per $1 on all other purchases. The card’s annual fee is $95 and it requires at least good credit for approval.
