Cardholders can set up Barclays automatic payments through their online account or the Barclays mobile app. Calling customer service at 1 (888) 710-8756 also is an option. Once you’re enrolled, Barclays will withdraw the payment amount from your linked bank account on the scheduled date.
How to Set Up Barclays Automatic Payments
- Log in to your online account via the Barclays website or mobile app.
- Find the “Make a payment” on the account home page and then select “Direct Debit.”
- Enter your bank account routing number and account number. This is the account from which Barclays will deduct your payment each month.
- Select your payment amount. Choose from the minimum amount due, the current balance, the statement balance, or a customized amount that is more than the minimum payment.
You should always make sure your bank account has enough funds for the payment a few days before the due date, to be safe. And once you’re in enrolled in automatic payments, don’t forget to review your recent transactions regularly.
