The Amex Blue Cash Everyday card, like all American Express cards, is accepted in more than 160 countries. Notable exceptions include Cuba, Sudan, South Sudan, Iran and Syria.
It’s worth mentioning that even in the countries where you can use the card, you might find places that will not allow you to pay with it. Australia, Canada, India and Mexico are among the countries where the Amex Blue Cash Everyday card acceptance is more widely spread, but smaller countries may have fewer merchants where you can use the card.
In conclusion, it would be best you have another backup credit card whenever you travel abroad.

This means American Express will add a 2.7% of each transaction after conversion to US dollars surcharge anytime you use the Blue Cash Everyday® Card from American Express outside of the United States.
