No, Chase Freedom Flex isn’t compatible with Apple Pay. Only certain Chase cards on the Visa network work with Apple Pay. However, two other cards from the "Chase Freedom" family are compatible with Apple Pay; the Chase Freedom Unlimited® card and the old Chase Freedom® card. The latter, though, is no longer available to new applicants.
Apple Pay Compatible Chase Credit Cards to Choose From
Please note that the Chase Freedom Flex card is a contactless – or "tap-to-pay" – card. So, you might not be able to use mobile wallets with Chase Freedom Flex, but at least it lets you simply tap a payment terminal to complete a transaction rather than inserting or swiping the card.
