The Costco Anywhere Visa® Card by Citi does not offer an authorized user bonus, currently. Some credit cards give a bonus for adding an authorized user, though this is a relatively rare feature and Costco Credit Card is not among the cards offering it.
Adding an authorized user to your Costco Anywhere Visa® Card by Citi still has benefits, though. To start, the authorized user is able to build credit, if they are age 18 or older. Also, authorized users’ purchases will earn rewards at the same rate as the primary cardholder’s purchases. This card currently gives 5% cash back rewards on gas at Costco and 4% cash back on other eligible gas and electric vehicle (EV) charging purchases for the first $7,000 combined spend per year, and then 1% thereafter, 3% back on restaurant and eligible travel purchases, 2% back on all other Costco and Costco.com purchases, and 1% back on all other purchases. Only the primary cardholder is able to redeem rewards earned by any user on the card, however.
