Yes, Walmart does accept American Express credit cards, debit cards and gift cards. In addition to American Express cards, Walmart accepts cards from the three other major card networks.
It’s also worth noting that Walmart.com is compatible with Click to Pay. At checkout, Amex cardholders can select the Click to Pay icon and enter the email address they use for their online Amex account. Then, the Click to Pay tool will turn their credit card information into an encrypted, virtual card number that is unique to that specific transaction.
