You can still earn a lot of bonus points with the current American Express Business Gold card promotional offers. Take a look at some of the card's features below.
American Express Business Gold card Current Offers
- High initial bonus. You'll earn 100,000 points for spending $15,000 within 3 months of account opening. You can redeem your points for gift cards or book travel through American Express Travel®. So, that's a worthwhile return on the $15,000 you have to spend.
- Extra points in bonus categories. You can earn 4 points per $1 spent on the top two eligible categories with the most spending each month from 6 eligible categories (up to $150,000 per year combined), 3 points per $1 spent on flights and prepaid hotels booked on amextravel.com, as well as 1 point per $1 spent on other eligible purchases. The categories that earn the maximum rewards include purchases on advertising in select media in the U.S., electronic goods/software/cloud solutions in the U.S., transit, monthly wireless telephone service charges made directly from a provider in the U.S., at U.S. gas stations, as well as restaurants in the U.S.

You're also insured up to a specified amount for lost or damaged baggage*, and trip delays**. Plus, there's a 0% foreign transaction fee for any transactions that involve international merchants.
Keep in mind that Amex will sometimes temporarily boost their initial bonus offer on the website. So, make sure to occasionally check for any updates. You can also get other types of bonus points every month and various other perks to sweeten the deal. It's also worth noting that this card comes with a $375 annual fee.
The decision to apply isn't a no-brainer, though. You should definitely consider other cards, too. A good option is the Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card, which offers 90,000 points for spending $8,000 in the first 3 months. Another decent choice is the Capital One Spark Cash Plus, which offers $2,000 for spending $30,000 in the first 3 months, plus an additional $2,000 bonus for every $500,000 spent in the first year.
