You can rent a car with your Total Visa Card by using it to pay for the rental.
However, it's not the best idea, as it's an unsecured card with a starting credit limit of $300, further lowered in the first month by the annual fee.
Assuming you have this credit limit, and all your balance available, you could only rent a car for approximately 2 days. That's because rental companies usually put a block on your card in the amount of the rental plus the deposit until the car is returned.
So while it's technically possible to rent a car with the Total Visa Card, it's best to just find another payment method for renting.
