Yes, you can switch from one Chase credit card to another, as long as both cards belong to the same branded credit card family. Basic Chase card accounts cannot be switched to co-branded accounts (like United, Southwest, Marriott, IHG, or Hyatt).
For example, you can change from the Chase Freedom Flex® Credit Card to the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card, but not United℠ Explorer Card.
Also keep in mind that you must qualify for the card you want to change to as well. And you cannot do a product change in the first 12 months of account opening.
