Other Ways to Change Your TD Bank Credit Card Address
By Phone: Call customer service at 1-888-751-9000 and provide your full name, your card number and the last four digits of your Social Security number to verify your account. Follow the prompts to speak to a customer service representative and let them know you’d like to change the address linked to your account.
In Person: Click the branch locator link on the TD Bank website or mobile app for a list of TD Bank branch locations. Enter your address or ZIP code to find a branch in your area.
By Mail: Update your address using the change-of-address form on the back of your monthly statement. Detach the form and mail it to the pre-printed address.
TD Bank Address Changes & Your Credit Report
TD Bank reports your address to all three of the major credit bureaus. The credit bureaus include each of your residential addresses on file as they’re reported by creditors. Be aware that if you don’t update your address on your TD Bank credit card, you may have a hard time securing additional loans or lines of credit, as lenders will not issue credit to an address not associated with your credit report.
When TD Bank has your current address on file, the risk of account statements and other personal information arriving at your old address and being used to commit identity theft is reduced. As a result, it’s important to update your address with TD Bank as soon as there are any changes.
