You can transfer Citi points to JetBlue by signing in to your account on thankyou.com or mobile app. Transfers require at least 1,000 points, and the name on your Citi account must match your JetBlue TrueBlue account. You can also use Citi points to book JetBlue flights through Citi Travel.
How to Transfer Citi Points to JetBlue
- Log in to your Citi ThankYou online account.
- Click “More Ways to Redeem” in the top menu, then select “Points Transfers” from the drop-down.
- Select JetBlue TrueBlue to expand its details, then click “Start Transfer.”
- Enter your JetBlue TrueBlue membership number.
- Input the number of points to transfer (at least 1,000 points).
- Review details and complete the transfer; you'll get an email confirmation.
You can transfer points to JetBlue with most Citi cards, but the transfer ratio depends on the specific card. For example, the Citi Strata Elite℠ Card and Citi Strata Premier® Card cards transfer at 1:1, while the Citi Strata℠ Card and Citi Double Cash Card cards transfer at 1:0.7.
How to Book JetBlue Flights with Citi Points
Log in to your Citi ThankYou account and go to “Travel” in the top menu, then select “Purchase a Flight.” Enter your dates and destinations, and filter for JetBlue flights. Pick your flight, and follow the prompts to apply your Citi points toward the airfare.
The redemption rate for airline purchases is 1 cent per point. For example, a $300 flight would cost 30,000 Citi points.
