Yes, you can upgrade your American Airlines Aviator Red Card to the American Airlines AAdvantage® Aviator® Silver Credit Card if the issuer makes this offer available to you. You can check to see if the option to upgrade is available by accessing the “Offers” menu from your online account.
Once you’ve accepted the upgrade offer, you will get a new AAdvantage Aviator Silver card with the same account number as your old American Airlines Aviator Red Card. The new card should be delivered in 7-10 business days after your next credit card statement date.
