The average USAA credit limit is $1,000 for secured cards and $3,000-$5,000 for unsecured cards.
USAA also offers a maximum credit limit of $50,000 across all of its cards.
If you're not satisfied with your credit limit, or your credit utilization is too high, you can request an increase for most of the USAA credit cards (except the Classic or Secured ones) online.
Keep in mind, though, that requesting an increase can result in a hard pull on your credit report.
But you can avoid that, because USAA also increases credit limits every 12 months automatically, if you're eligible. You have the best chance for an automatic increase if you always pay your balance in full and on time.

No, USAA does not do a credit limit increase every 12 months. When I married my husband (2 years ago) his credit limit was $8k. We’ve kept the total below 30% and have made regular payments (before that, there was one 30-day blemish which is within the 7 years so still on credit report). I only now requested a credit limit increase, and since we’ve been together (5 years), his pay has increased 30%. He has a 740 credit score and was denied a credit limit increase. USAA is not a fair creditor and definitely does not perform annual credit limit increases for responsible users. I experienced the same issue when I was a service member (joined 2007). They are one of the tougher creditors which is difficult for service members as many are young airmen looking to start establishing credit at a young age. They are not service-member friendly and couldn’t give any cares for service members looking to gain better credit.
Forgot to mention I too was trying to get a credit increase and got the same response of declined and like you I've been with USAA for double digit years.... Pure displeased and disgusted.... There's no need to throw out the race card because it's biasness is gear more towards white privilege and uses an algorithm to determine if you're eligible or not just think about it... And I was able to get credit increase from AMEX and Visa but not USAA GTFOH lol SMH ??♂️
@bmaninbama: thank you for your clarity and I concur 1000% As a matter of fact I'll be removing from lame USAA..it has went down hill and beyond garbage
