You get up to five tows per year with Allstate, depending on the number of people you add. Allstate offers two roadside assistance plans, both of which include five rescues per year: the Roadside Advantage plan, which costs $89 for the first year, and the Roadside Assist plan, which costs $73 for the first year. Roadside coverage with Allstate can also be included as an add-on to your insurance policy for $25+ per year, in which case you get unlimited tows.
Allstate Motor Club Towing Limits
| Membership Plan | Free Tows per Year | Tow Coverage |
| Allstate Roadside Advantage | 2 to 5 tows | 10 miles per tow |
| Allstate Roadside Assist | 2 to 5 tows | 10 miles per tow |
| Insurance Add-On | Unlimited* | Reimbursement up to $100+ per tow |
*With the insurance add-on, the number of tows, coverage for tows, and other roadside assistance services can vary by state.
You can use your Allstate roadside assistance service calls for more than just towing, too. Allstate also offers other services like jump starts, fuel delivery, tire changes, lockout services, and trip-interruption compensation.
If you do not have a roadside assistance membership or you’ve already used your allotted tows, you will need to pay out of pocket for assistance. The non-member price starts at $154 for a tow.
If you are in immediate need of assistance, you can use Allstate’s online portal or call 1-877-597-3393. Alternatively, use this page to request Allstate assistance if you are not a member.
