“Universal CD CBNA” on a credit report refers to the AT&T Universal Savings Platinum Credit Card, which is no longer available to new applicants.
“Universal” is short for AT&T Universal Savings. “CD” stands for card. And “CBNA” is an acronym for CitiBank North America. Don’t mistake this for Credit Bureau of North America; Community Bank, N.A.; or Comenity Bank!
So seeing “Universal CD CBNA” on your credit report is no cause for concern if you have an AT&T Citicard. But if that’s not the case, make sure to follow these steps for addressing an unauthorized credit inquiry.

It's an AT&T credit card, issued by CitiBank.

If you have an old AT&T credit card, that's what it's about. It's from CitiBank, hence CBNA.
