No, you can’t borrow money from Venmo. The company explicitly states that they do not offer loans to their users, but they do offer peer-to-peer payments and other financial services including digital direct deposits, a Venmo debit card and a Venmo credit card.
Don’t be discouraged, though. There are several mobile apps that allow you to borrow money, with loan or cash advance amounts up to $750.

Alternatively, you could borrow money from a friend or family member who has the Venmo app and conduct the transaction through Venmo. The funds will be in your Venmo account immediately, and you can transfer the money to your bank account within 30 minutes using Venmo’s “Instant transfer” feature, although a 1.75% fee will be deducted from the transfer amount. If you opt for a standard bank transfer, your money will typically be in your bank account in 1-3 business days.
