American Airlines' hotel partners are Hyatt, Marriott, and IHG. You can earn miles when you pay for a room, use miles to pay for stays, or convert hotel loyalty points into American Airlines miles to boost your balance.
American Airlines' Hotel Partners in 2025
Hyatt Hotels and Resorts
Earn 500 miles per stay at participating Hyatt properties. You can also convert 5,000 World of Hyatt points into 2,000 AAdvantage miles.
Marriott Hotels and Resorts
Earn up to 2 miles for every dollar spent on eligible charges. You can also convert 30,000 Marriott Bonvoy points into 10,000 AAdvantage miles.
IHG Hotels and Resorts
Earn up to 2 miles for every dollar spent on eligible charges. You can also convert 10,000 IHG One Rewards points into 2,000 AAdvantage miles.
With Marriott and IHG, you need to set your hotel account to earn AAdvantage miles instead of hotel points. With Hyatt, you can just add your AAdvantage number to the reservation when booking.
AAdvantage Hotels Portal
American Airlines runs AAdvantage Hotels, a booking site with over 500,000 properties worldwide, where you can earn miles on bookings and pay for reservations with miles, cash or a combination.
AAdvantage cardmembers earn up to 5 times more miles and Loyalty Points on hotel bookings made through AAdvantage Hotels. If you have both a card and elite status, you can earn up to 10 times more. Plus, cardholders and status members can book with up to 30% fewer miles.
