The Alaska Atmos Rewards program does not let you pool points with family or friends. Instead, you can transfer points from your account to another account at a cost of $10.00 per 1,000 points, plus a $25.00 processing fee per transaction. You can transfer Atmos Rewards points in increments of 1,000, up to 100,000 points per calendar year.
Is It Worth It to Transfer Alaska Airlines Points?
Atmos Rewards points are worth about 1.37 cents each when redeemed for Alaska Airlines flights, meaning 1,000 points are worth roughly $13.70. However, transferring 1,000 points costs $10 plus a $25.00 processing fee per transaction, meaning the transfer cost far outweighs the points' value. Because of this, transferring points frequently or in large denominations is not recommended.
