You get between 10 to 15 points per $1 spent at Choice Hotels, depending on your membership tier.
For every $1 you spend on your night, you'll get:
- 10 points if you are a Member.
- 11 points if you are a Gold tier member.
- 12.5 points if you are a Platinum tier member.
- 15 points if you are a Diamond tier member.
Here’s an estimate of how many points you can earn for a Choice Hotels night based on the average room price (excluding taxes and fees) and your status within the Choice Privileges program:
Cost (USD) | Points Earned (Member) | Points Earned (Gold) | Points Earned (Platinum) | Points Earned (Diamond) |
$300 | 3,000 | 3,300 | 3,750 | 4,500 |
$400 | 4,000 | 4,400 | 5,000 | 6,000 |
$500 | 5,000 | 5,500 | 6,250 | 7,500 |
$1,000 | 10,000 | 11,000 | 12,500 | 15,000 |
Stays at MainStay Suites, Suburban Studios, and Everhome Suites are the exception. You earn 10 points per $1 spent on stays of 6 nights or fewer, and you get 5 points per $1 on longer stays.
You can find how much a night would cost you by visiting choicehotels.com and selecting your desired property. Then, calculate how many points you would earn by multiplying the cost of a night by the number of points you get for every $1 spent.
