Frontier Elite status expires on December 31 of the year after you earn it. For example, if you earn status in June 2025, it will be valid through December 31, 2026. To obtain a particular status level and enjoy its perks, you need to meet the qualifying requirements from January 1 to December 31.
How to Keep Frontier Miles Status
The expiration extends each time you requalify by earning the required number of Elite Status Points in the calendar year after you earn the status. So, if you requalify at any point in 2026, your new expiration will be December 31, 2027.
How to Requalify for Frontier Status
To requalify for Frontier Elite status, you need to earn enough Elite status points each year. You earn Elite status points through eligible purchases made on FlyFrontier.com or with the Frontier Airlines Credit Card.
