Delta miles cost 3.76 cents per mile, meaning that 10,000 Delta miles will cost you $376.25. You can buy a minimum of 2,000 miles for $75.25, and then purchase additional miles in increments of 2,000, up to 60,000 miles per calendar year.
You can buy Delta miles by going to the Delta SkyMiles website and selecting “Buy Miles.” In some cases, you may be able to buy miles at a discount during a promotional period.
Cost to Buy Delta Miles
| Number of Delta Miles | Cost of Buying |
| 2,000 | $75.25 |
| 10,000 | $376.25 |
| 20,000 | $752.50 |
| 30,000 | $1,128.75 |
| 40,000 | $1,505.00 |
The values in the table reflect the standard price when no promotions are available.
Buying Delta miles is not worth the cost. However, if you need to buy Delta miles, using a Delta credit card is the best approach, as you'll earn extra Delta miles on top of the ones you purchase with your card. You'll get the most value from your miles if you redeem them for award flights, but you can also use your miles for hotel stays, car rentals, and more.
