You can sign up for free on the IHG website to start enjoying member benefits. You just need to enter your first and last name, email, country, city, and other details, and create a password.

Silver Elite Members

• Rewards points don’t expire as long as you maintain your status.

To earn Silver Elite, you need to complete 10 nights at any IHG property during a calendar year. Alternatively, you can obtain Silver Elite status by being approved for the IHG One Rewards Traveler Credit Card and retain it as long as you remain a cardmember.

Gold Elite Members

To earn Gold Elite, you need to complete 20 nights at any IHG property or earn 40,000 elite qualifying points, during a calendar year. Platinum Elite Members

You can earn Platinum Elite by completing 40 nights at any IHG property or earning 60,000 elite qualifying points during a calendar year. You can also get the IHG Platinum Elite status by getting approved for the IHG One Rewards Traveler Credit Card and retain it as long as you remain a cardmember.

Diamond Elite Members

To qualify for Diamond Elite, complete 70 nights at any IHG property or earn 120,000 elite qualifying points during a calendar year. If you hold the IHG One Rewards Traveler Credit Card and spend $40,000 during a calendar year, you will be upgraded to Diamond Elite status, which will be valid through December 31st of the following year.

Once you earn Elite status, you'll keep it through the end of the next calendar year. For example, if you achieve Elite status in 2024, you'll retain it through December 31, 2025.
