10% ‘cash’ back on every purchase. If you shop at Bon-Ton, waste no time in getting the Bon-Ton Credit Card. You’ll earn 1 point per $1 spent, which might not sound so great until you consider that you need just 200 points to get a $20 rewards card. Spending $200 to get $20 back equates to an earning rate of 10%, which is pretty amazing.

The only catch is that you have to spend more than you redeem each time you use one of these $20 rewards cards. They’re only applicable to purchases of $50 or more.

Other assorted perks. Bon-Ton Credit Card users receive a birthday gift each year, in addition to various special savings offers doled out from time to time. And the more you spend, the more attractive these benefits become. For example, people who spend at least $1,500 at Bon-Ton per year get free shipping for online orders of $25+.

No annual fee. The Bon-Ton Card’s lack of an annual fee makes it $15.55 per year cheaper than the average credit card, according to WalletHub’s latest Credit Card Landscape Report. And while hardly any store credit cards charge an annual fee, this does make it easier to justify getting a new credit card solely for purchases from a single retailer.

For people with fair credit or better. As long as you don’t have bad credit (or no credit), you should be able to get the Bon-Ton Credit Card. If you don’t know where your credit stands, you can check your latest credit score for free on WalletHub.

Not built for carrying a balance. You should only get the Bon-Ton Card if you plan to pay for your Bon-Ton purchases in full every month that you use it. So if you carry a balance from month to month, you’re guaranteed to overpay.

Did the Bon-Ton Credit Card report to all bureaus?

Yes, the Bon-Ton Credit Card likely reported the cardholder's activity each month to the three major credit bureaus: Experian, TransUnion and Equifax.

Note that the Bon-Ton credit card program has ended. So, if you're interested in a department-store credit card, consider the Macy's Store Card, instead. miss the store and never had any issues with the card. not sure if the issuing bank would give me a credit line since i filed bankruptcy

I contacted Bonton to pay off my balance, they credited a late fee, gave me the pay off $, I paid it and was assured I'd have a zero balance in August. Checked statement called again was assured that come August my statement would be showing a zero balance. Well I was informed today that I incurred a late fee and interest and I should have known that. Please be aware that you need to know your fees because as I was told they missed it when giving me my pay off figure which was not a small amount. I'll think twice before using my bonton card again!
