The Phillips 66 Credit Card is worth considering if your credit score is 640 or higher, you like to get gas at Phillips 66 or its sister stations Conoco and 76, and you don’t mind using their Fuel Forward app when you fill up. This card doesn’t charge an annual fee, and you can earn 3 ¢ per gallon with every $1 spent.
In addition to affiliated gas stations, the Phillips 66 Credit Card can be used with over 1 million auto merchants that belong to the Synchrony Car Care network. It even offers a 0% financing promotion to go along with its rewards on purchases. However, this promotion uses a potentially costly feature called deferred interest, and the card’s regular APR is very high.
You should also note that the card’s rewards aren’t guaranteed to be great forever. Its highest earning rates are currently available only for a limited time. You may want to consider other options as a result, and our editors’ picks for the best gas rewards credit cards are a good place to start.

I am an all-around cash back credit card user. I have 8 other cash back cards that cover everything I buy, and I pay them off in full each billing period. I have gas cards that offer cash back rewards of 2, 3, and 5%, which overwhelm the 3-cent per gallon discount this Conoco gas card provides.
For all intents and purposes, this card is worthless for me. The other rewards this card offers on other purchases fall short compared to every other rewards card I have in my wallet. I got this card a couple of years ago when I was still new to credit cards. My 1980s model brain thought I needed a gas card, but modern cash back cards have eclipsed everything this card has to offer. I have a $1000 spend limit card I have no use for. I used it two consecutive months in the past four so that I can sock drawer it until sometime next year. You might do well if you pass on this card.

Changed their website a couple of years ago; navigation went down the tubes. Never Never have I missed or been late on a payment. They fined me a $29 service fee, saying I made a payment that was returned on a bank account from over three years ago that was closed. Not sure how they can claim that one. They won't reverse the service return fee. They're super happy to take your money but offer no customer service when it comes to a problem on their end.

Buyer Beware. After one year of regular trouble-free use, I began receiving notices that I was being charged $1.00 every time I tried to buy gas at the pump. I tried to read up, including the small print but found nothing, so I opted for a live chat to see if I could get some answers. An hour and a conversation with a floor manager later, I was told that this was how things work everywhere (they used Amazon as an example, "like Amazon does"). No explanation was provided as to why the first year was $1.00 charge-free every time I went to the pump. This seems to be a case of card companies passing on all risks and costs to the customer after the initial bait is taken with a deep discount for customer loyalty. You all can do better. There are some out there on fixed incomes who see this charge and may decide they can't afford their medicine. Come on now, you can do better Synchrony, Phillips, and Amazon.

This card is weak. You don't get much from using this card. They advertise all kinds of discounts. There's a complicated way you have to splay your financial and personal data across several different commercial platforms to chase the advertised rewards. This really ups my chances of my info being involved in a data leak. Loads of shady spam. This card will be for my emergency use only.

This was my go to card for gas until the discount changed from .25 cents per gallon. Now i can find gas cheaper and without a card. Makes life easier sometimes not having to plan a special trip to get gas.

Just got this card but it does have 25 cents off a gallon plus other rearward offers. It has been easy to use and allows me to get more cash back on my other cards where I can save more on other categories

This closed loop credit card is advertised as giving big rewards. I flipped through the convoluted rewards program and see you have to link up and expose all your info across an array of commercial entities. Your card isn't under Visa or MC and it has no chip. the 3 cents on the gallon rewards on this card are terrible compared to my 2 cents on the Dollar card. Slam dunk approval odds $1000 CL but I should have looked before I applied. This card'll be for emergency use only.
