I would give this card a 0 rating if it was possible. I have been a business member at Sam's for 20 years and the MasterCard issued by Synchrony Bank is awful. I have an excellent credit rating and have always paid my card in full every month. These jerks have some kind of algorithm that shuts down your card when you least expect it. Then you have to jump through hoops trying to get it unlocked. Recently, I was remodeling my kitchen and buying high end appliances in my own town. Nothing unusual, because I frequently buy things costing thousands of dollars. They shut it down and when I tried to get it unlocked, they required me to use an impossible app from my smart phone that makes you take videos of your face and then photograph your driver's license. What an invasion of privacy! The app didn't work worth a damn and then permanently locked me out. The only way to unlock it is to write a letter to Synchrony Bank with a copy of your ID and a utility bill from the address on file. Then you have to wait up to another month to see if their lousy fraud unit will accept it. I hate this bank and its horrible customer service department. I wish Sam's would do business with another company. Don't set up scheduled payments on this card, because it will reject them when they randomly shut down your card. Although the Sam's card gives you 2% back once you spend over $1,000.00, I would recommend using a different card. There are other cards that give you 1-1/2% back with no annual fee and they don't treat you like a criminal just for using your card.

HORRIBLE CARD, WORST I EVER HAD!! It took them sending 6 cards before they got my business name right. Their website is TERRIBLE, had terrible time creating an account and it is never up to date or accurate. Don't expect to search past statements online. Just found out they only pay rewards ONCE A YEAR!!! Ridiculous, and if you cancel your card you forfeit your rewards. Outrageous!!! Run!!!!

Synchrony Bank lied to me when I called about my card being declined. I was lied to by the customer service rep and when transferred to the fraud unit I figured that the customer service rep told me a lie. The customer service rep would not tell me that I was being transferred to the fraud unit, said I needed to be transferred but would not tell me who or why I need to talk to someone else. Once I spoke to the fraud unit they said that the purchase that I was attempting to complete had aspects that were consistent with fraud. Now the first thing I thought was these guys that I want to do business with are con artist but when I ask the fraud person if they knew something that I should know she would not say anything but there was something about the transaction that was consistent with fraud.
I have had this card for a short time and as I look back on it. When I was in line to get the card the guy behind me was telling me a story about his card being denied several times and not working while he was on a trip. He was at Sam's because he was told that he needed to come in because of activities on his card. Of course I just believed he had problems but in reality he was experiencing what could and will happen to anyone doing business with Sam's MasterCard.
I have enjoyed the convenience of this card being a membership and credit card but I am going to change how I do business to avoid Synchrony Bank and their games.

For years we have only been using this as a back up card because we have so many problems with it. The website is out of date, and purchases take days to post. They keep putting a block on the card for suspicious activity without informing us, so we won't find out until it is declined at the worst possible times. The transactions that are blocked never seem to make sense either. It's not the large purchase out of town that is declined, but the monthly subscription that has been charged on the same day every month. So why was it suspicious this time? I just spent 22 minutes on the phone with customer service and couldn't get an answer. I think we are finally going to cancel the card. All the hassle is costing the business more than the rewards are saving us.

I absolutely enjoy this card. I use it more at Walmart..lol I applied in Dec,2014 was approved for $437 for a Sam's Club Store Business card. I make pymts. a few times a month. In May, 2015, I requested a increase was denied 5 days later they increased my limit to $600, one month after that (June 2015) they increased it to $700, in November 2015 my new Credit Limit went up to $1100. Logging in to my account used to be hectic I've got used to it. Online pymts sometimes take up to 5 days to Post and takes just as long to come out of my bank acct. In store pymts. sometimes it posts instantly when paid in cash but can take up to 3/5 days. In all reality, just keep track of your balances. My last increase I was shocked because I still had a big Balance owed. Good Luck. Hope this helps.

This is a horrible card. I have nothing but trouble with it. There is always something that comes up, where they have to change my number and get me a new card. I can appreciate the security, but then getting online to pay the bill works one time and then it doesn't. The website is outdated and hard to look at. If there's a problem and you call when you are away from the office, the security question (at least twice) had something to do with what my last payment was. I can't remember that off the top of my head. So needless to say, the card doesn't get used anywhere but Sams and maybe not then. worst card ever.

This card offers no assistance in record keeping. No Annual statement like most other cards offer. Furthermore, the statements on line go back only a few months and if your card is replaced, all of the online history is gone.
If you use this card then keep your paper statements.
What is management thinking ? I keep getting offers for paperless statements but management is clueless how ineffective that is for business records.

I have gotten more calls for being late and paying twice when I didn't need a payment. I have had no problem with ant of my other cards and every other month I have trouble with this one at SAMs club. I have never had another card make me so angry but I gotta say the rep in philapenes was very nice. I will only pay cash at SAMs anymore.

Their interest rates are terrible. You have to have an 825 credit score to get their best. I have almost an 800, and the interest rate they gave me is 22.9%. My other cards are around 9-12%. Not worth the rewards when you can get similar ones with cards that offer lower interest rates, like Costco and AARP.
