I have been banking with RFCU for a few years and had a credit card that paid cash back but in January 2023 they increased their interest rate and because I chose to opt out of the increase interest rate and yet still agreed to pay the credit card until paid in full, I learned today that I no longer have online banking privileges to monitor my balance and/or make payments at my convience any time of the week or day. They told me that the account is blocked because it now has a new interest rate that I opted out so my statement will be mailed to me for future payments. This is 2023 and online banking is not available when you have a credit card balance on an account??? I have excellent credit score, never made a late payment, and always paid more than my balance and yet now I have to go back in time and only have access to my balance and/or make a payment when a statement is mailed to me. Any credit card with a bank or store has it where you can access your account to view balance and available to make payments ONLINE. This bank is going back in time and because I opted out to the higher interest rate on my credit card which was an option available when I recieved the letter about the increase in interest and so now my online privilege is no longer available. NOT a good way to treat your valued customers.

RBFCU does not offer person-to-person payment platforms like Zelle or Venmo. Very inconvenient with significant delay to move my money using their antiquated transfer options. Time for RBFCU to embrace banking in the 21st century.

I opened an account online with $10...they froze my account and won't even let me close the damn thing until I speak to the Fraud division...which is impossible to get ahold of. I have been waiting for nearly six hours...still no return call. Keep the $10...won't be going back to get it. SOOOO glad I didn't have my paycheck go into that bank...I would be setting here without being able to access my $$...horrible customer service...just horrible! The FRAUD Department is too busy to actually talk to you...so they will just hold your cash hostage...till they have time!

Been with RBFCU over 10 years. The worst now. And during these times they aren’t understanding at all. Have been making on time payments, fell behind because I got laid off and had one missed payment , they reported me to the credit bureau and my score went down 96 points. This has caused me so many problems and I can’t wait until my loan is paid off which I only have 1k left on.a joke

So I was going to Hawaii for work. I don’t know the place or people. As the time is getting closer for me to go. I rented a apartment and signed a lease everything seem to be legit. Then I said let me send my boss to pick up the key the place was fake. This person got my information and took my money. I have been calling and reaching out to Randa Brooks and they have not done anything about getting me my money back or have called me with the status on this. It was a wire transfer and I am protected and they haven’t done anything to get me a resolution. My husband passed away last year so I really needed the money so I thought relocating with all that extra bonus that I get I could really get back on my feet and this happened to me. You would think that I would have a back to back me up since I’ve been with them for about 15 years. No phone call no anything I am asking Randolph brooks what are you gonna do that part is to help me out

You all lost a member and potential business from someone with an 830 Fico score because she was my biological aunt who might as well be my mom and has been acting as my mother more than half my life but we were honest when asked. And if we would have lied and said she was my mom. You people would have never known the difference. So you let honesty get in the way of helping a member and making money over doing the right thing or compromising and finding away to make her a member. No one I know will ever be able to mention rbfcu no one I pass walking by will be able to let me hear rbfcu without being told how I was treated in one of your branches by an employee and then to top it off I held for 30 min online waiting to get someone in the phone Because it didn’t give me the option for a call back that time and I was disconnected in transfer last time no one called me back. This place has turned into a joke unless you got blackmail or dirt or a ton of money does anyone care about you there.

The Georgetown location provided me with horrible service. The tellers and bankers are haggard and lack customer service. I won’t continue banking with them. I would recommend banking elsewhere.

Paid off my mortgage and closed my account with RBFCU. Couldn’t come fast enough would do anything to get away from this horrible bank. Out for themselves do not care about the customer at all happy to be gone!

It should be easy to link your RBFCU credit card to PayPal. PayPal's website says that all major credit cards are accepted. That said, there are a few reasons why you could be having problems linking your card. For example, your credit card might have been cancelled by your issuer. Or if you used the card with another PayPal account (or a closed account), you can't use it with another PayPal account. You should call PayPal's customer service number at 1-888-221-1161. If they say it's an issue with RBFCU, call the RBFCU customer service line at 1-800-580-3300.
There are over 4,000 ways to qualify and you can easily apply online at rbfcu.org/membership. You can open an savings account with a minimum of $1 and a checking account can be opened with a zero balance.
