Plus, you’ll earn 2 miles per $1 spent on eligible American Airlines purchases, 2 miles per $1 at gas stations and restaurants, and 1 mile per $1 on all other purchases. The Citi AAdvantage Platinum Select also comes with a 0% foreign transaction fee, which makes it great for traveling.
Alternative Credit Card Option With Lounge Access
If you’re looking for an American Airlines credit card with lounge access, you should consider the Citi® / AAdvantage® Executive World Elite Mastercard®, instead. The Citi AAdvantage Executive Card comes with an Admirals Club membership. This perk allows the primary cardholder free entry at more than 100 Admirals Club and partner lounges, along with up to 2 guests per visit. You can search for clubs and partner lounges on American Airlines’ dedicated web page.
If you’re not set on American Airlines, feel free to also check out some other credit cards with lounge access.
