No, the Amex Gold Card does not offer lounge access. The best Amex card for lounge access is The Platinum Card® from American Express, which provides access to more than 1,550 airport lounges worldwide. However, this card has a $895 annual fee. The Amex Gold Card is cheaper, with an annual fee of $325.
If you’re an extremely frequent traveler and use airport lounges on a regular basis, it’s worth getting a credit card with complimentary lounge access, instead. Buying unlimited access or day passes to all the lounges you want to visit would cost thousands of dollars.
